Alex Kramer

It's been an exhilarating journey that has brought guitarist Alex Kramer from his humble roots in some of the most vibrant musical communities in the country to the international stage and screen. Born in Nashville, TN, Alex was brought up under the tutelage of the finest musicians in the city, his father being a 30 year veteran of the music industry. In 2007, Alex moved to yet another music mecca, Memphis, TN, after being awarded a full music scholarship to the University of Memphis. It was during this time that Kramer began his career full-time. He rapidly rose to prominence in the Memphis music scene, playing with the top artists and musicians in the region. Following the success of his national television platform on MTV's 'Making His Band,' he relocated to Los Angeles in 2009 and is currently among the most visible figures in L.A.'s Pop, R&B, Rock, Hip Hop, and Gospel communities. In 2012, Alex expanded his professional network to include the Nashville music industry in addition to his work on the west coast.

Alex's various endeavors as a guitarist and producer in the music industry has lead him to sharing the stage and studio with many world renowned artists, including Sean “Diddy” Combs, Brandy, Jason Derulo, Bobby Brown, Wyclef Jean, Joey McIntyre, Faith Evans, Stevie Wonder, Tyrese, Tank, Kenny Lattimore, Jon B., Bilal, Floetry, Christopher "Kid" Reid (Kid N Play), Ledisi, Frenchie Davis, Shoshana Bean, Abraham McDonald, SA-RA Creative Partners, The Mary Jane Girls, the Wooten Brothers, Gospel legends Tye Tribbett, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Sheri Jones-Moffett, Johnny B. Williams, and Ivan Parker, as well as ministers Benny Hinn and Clarence E. McClendon. In addition, Kramer has worked with many high profile producers, including The Fliptones, JR Hutson, LT Hutton, and Scott Bomar. Alex has toured internationally as a guitarist and has played on records that have gained nominations for Grammys and Dove awards. He has performed on national television broadcasts including the NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, MTV, VH1, BET, and TBN networks. He was featured prominently on MTV's 'Making His Band,' where he attained the top ranking position in the nation as a guitarist (out of more than 40,000 musicians that auditioned). Alex currently endorses Paul Reed Smith Guitars, Blueridge Guitars, Mesa Boogie Amplification, Monocase, and D'Addario Strings.
