Founder and lead guitarist of California Bay Area Metal band APOTHESARY, Clayton Cagle found his humble beginnings as many would imagine, in a friends garage. After just a year of playing guitar, APOTHESARY was formed with three close friends. It would quickly evolve into a serious project and one of the more prominent acts in the Bay Area metal scene. After the underground success of 2009's The Unthinking Masses EP, APOTHESARY was bound straight for higher callings. With not one band member over the age of 17, the boys were already opening for acts such as: FORBIDDEN (Nuclear Blast Records), WARBRINGER (Century Media), BONDED BY BLOOD (Earache Records), ASESINO (Listenable records, members of FEAR FACTORY and STATIC-X), APOTHESARY soon gained corporate sponsorships from companies such as: Paul Reed Smith Guitars, Kahler Tremolos, Hughes and Kettner Amplification, and Soultone Cymbals. Quite admirable feats for a band born less than two years previously. The future seems bright for the boys, who are currently in the process of recording their debut full-length and finding a label to release it.
