Jason Jordan

Jason Michael Carroll

"The PRS DGT has quickly became my main guitar! The craftsmanship is second to none! It is a true workhorse with unlimited tonal possibilities...this guitar will truly do it all! I am excited every time I open the case!!!"

"Daddy I can do that" are the words Derrel Jordan remembers hearing from his six year old son, Jason, as his father completed guitar lessons to a group of teenagers. Sure enough, young Jason Jordan could play "Proud Mary" and "Johnny B Goode" better than the high school students his dad taught every Saturday at their family-owned music store in Alabama. Whether it was sitting in with his parent's band or a guest appearance on their local television show, The Nashville Connection, Jason lived night and day with his guitar as his companion.

Since moving to Nashville in 1996, Jason has participated in a variety of sessions, touring gigs, and clinics. Mastering his chops on Nashville's famous "Lower Broad" placed Jason in the company of his guitar heroes such as Ray Flack and Red Volkaert. This unique breeding ground has long cultivated raw talents of a young guitarist, like Jordan, for years. It's an area where, on any given day, you can walk into an authentic honky-tonk and have your socks knocked off by any number of guitarists. The Alabama native declares, "There's no place I would have rather been!" Although influenced by much of today's popular music, Jason proves that the current Guitar Generation has not forgotten what Nashville, Bakersfield and Texas have done for this timeless and unique style of guitar playing.
