British guitarist Miles Gilderdale is probably best known for his work with contemporary jazz outfit, three-time Grammy nominees and multi-million album sellers, Acoustic Alchemy. He and his partner were also recipients of the 2002 Gibson guitars “Jazz guitarists of the year” award.
Before his Acoustic Alchemy days Miles had his own band and played with artists as diverse as Ronnie Wood and Ben E. King. His outfit also toured with Curtis Mayfield back in the 1980s.
Miles plays a NF3.
“I’d been agonizing over which model to get” says Miles. I’ve known Paul for a few years now, he’s seen us play a few times and knows what I need out of an electric. I had a great conversation with him which went a bit like this:
MG: “I’ve been trying the 305, the DC3 and the 513 but I’m not sure which to get.”
PRS: “You want an NF3.”
MG: “Oh, because I was really liking the 305…”
PRS: “You need an NF3. What colour do you want? “
MG: “Er, OK, white please…”
"He was right. The NF3 is just one surprise after another, I love it and it’s quite unique – unlike anything I’ve played before. LOVE IT !"
