Dave started playing guitar in 1984 when his friend Maurice McCoy let him borrow his old acoustic. After learning some chords from having played a bit of piano, he had a guitar by that Christmas thanks to his father. Born and raised in Maryland he has played with Jimmie's Chicken Shack, The Loft, The Average Joes, John Colianni (The Les Paul Trio), and has worked with acts as diverse as Hall and Oates, Larry Carlton, The Bad Names and Oh Yeah Sure. He also has worked with other acts as a guitar and or stage technician and sound engineer. Televised performances include being on The Conan O'Brien Show, The Donny and Marie Show, 120 Minutes and many others. Dave currently plays guitar with The Kelly Bell Band based out of Baltimore, Md. The Kelly Bell Band plays 150 plus shows a year and they are always working on their next album.
