“I remember wanting to play guitar since the day I found out what they were. I got my 1st SC245 just as Counterpoint formed and has been my main workhorse ever since. PRS guitars are simply the best on every level. Sweet tone, response, playability and true character. I haven’t played any other guitar that resonates and feels like a part me when I play. Born in Reading, England 1992 Jay became obsessed with music from a very early age.

With early influences such as Alter Bridge, Guns N Roses Led, Zeppelin and many others, Jay took every opportunity to play live. This drive quickly led him to form and front British Rock band Counterpoint, writing and gigging extensively wherever possible and securing support slots with Shinedown and SOiL across their full European tour in 2009 at just 17 years old.
