Our passion is building guitars and amplifiers that inspire you as much as Carlos Santana, Mark Tremonti, or any other big-name musician. When you’re investing in a new amplifier, a few thoughts should be passing through your mind before you drop the cash. Things like: How will this amp perform on stage? How will it track in the studio? Is it versatile or a one-trick pony? Will it handle my different guitars/rigs? All intelligent and important questions. Our engineering team dwelt on these questions during the development of our Archon family of amps and a few noteworthy producers have noticed. Check out this blog to read their thoughts!

A lot of hard work and quality control testing goes into our amps here at PRS. Hand wiring each component is a big part of what we do.
After each amp is wired and assembled we put signal through the amp for hours to make sure it holds up. We don’t want our amps to ever fail you on stage, we want them to bring your tone to an all new level.
Pictured above is the inside of our all-tube PRS Sweet 16 Amp, you can learn more about this amp, HERE.
The PRS 2 Channel “H” has received an Editor’s Pick from Guitar Player in their November 2012 issue.
“The PRS Anniversary amplifier fills the “35 watt plexi” slot in my amp setup. It has the punch and midrange of a great older Marshall at a slightly lower and more practical volume than a plexi 50. I love that the 2 channels are bridged internally so I don’t have to jump them with a cable. Blending the 2 channels gives me a wide array of vintage British tone with lots of low end punch. Additionally, it is a new hand built amp, so I don’t have to worry about a 40 year old transformer or filter cap failing at a gig or session. Wonderful, pure, vintage inspired tones…....I love this amp!”
- David Grissom
“I’m touring the world with Steve Vai this year. I need versatile, incredible sounding amps with flawless reliability for this gig. I chose PRS’s 2-Channel H amps. Their sound, dual master volumes, reverb and loop give me everything I need.” - Dave Weiner
