Paul Reed Smith Studio

Pedals, preamps, mics, and more, Paul Reed Smith knows good gear. On his property in Annapolis, MD, Paul has built an isolated recording studio. For years he has been building (and rebuilding) his collection of studio gear, and frequently shares his passion with other musicians.

Just this year, Paul released a new album with the Paul Reed Smith Band, recording the majority of it in this home studio.

Check out the video below as Paul explains some of his favorite pieces of guitar and studio equipment and even demos a few of his favorite pedals at the end!

You could just throw all that away and buy a Kemper, ha. Ha. Sorry, great set up Paul.

Cool, great to see his enthusiasm. What pedals is he using at the end? Enjoyed that.

This was fun to watch! Paul like a kid in a candy store with all of the electronic devices. After years of playing and studying these pedals he is still almost awestruck at the capabilities within them and that they do for the music. Very nice!

Hi, Paul - why don't you design/build an all tube mic preamp? Even better, a tube mixer so we can capture all the glory of your incredible guitars and amps.
