PRS Guitars Supports Music for Life Alliance and Music For All
Guitars and Experience PRS 2008 Getaway Up for Bidding
(STEVENSVILLE, MD) January 24, 2008 – Paul Reed Smith Guitars donated an Experience PRS getaway and several guitars during charitable events benefiting the Music for Life Alliance and Music For All at this year’s Winter NAMM musical instruments trade show. Music For All is auctioning an all new Mira model (color of choice for the final bidder) along with a getaway for two to the Experience PRS 2008 open house event in Maryland. Bids for the Mira / Experience PRS 2008 Getaway Package can be placed by visiting www.musicforall.org through Sunday, January 27, 10:15 p.m. PST.
Experience PRS 2008 is the second annual open house event hosted by PRS Guitars at their Stevensville, MD manufacturing facility. Entrance to this exclusive event, to include PRS artist performances, various guitar demonstrations and seminars, new model introductions, archive displays, factory tours, food, beverages and much more, is by invitation only and will cater to authorized PRS dealers/distributors and their PRS enthusiast customers from around the world.
Muriel Anderson’s All Star Guitar Night, an event sponsored in part by PRS Guitars and headlined by PRS Signature Model Artist David Grissom, also hosted an auction that benefited the Music for Life Alliance. Instruments provided by PRS earned thousands of dollars for the Music for Life Alliance, an organization that has long since been affiliated with the annual NAMM all-star jam and supported by PRS. The All Star Guitar Night will be rebroadcast on various online performance channels such as www.TrueFire.TV, www.AllStarGuitarNight.TV, www.GuitarPlayerTV.com among others in the coming months.
This is the second year that PRS has contributed to auctions that benefit both the Music for Life Alliance and Music For All. “PRS Guitars is happy to provide support whenever we can to help keep music education accessible for children and teens. We can’t be there for every project but we certainly do our best to help,” said Paul Reed Smith.
