About The Collection Series
When Paul Reed Smith assumed leadership of the PRS Private Stock program in 2009, he remarked, "I’m looking forward to building guitars again.” The Collection Series from Private Stock provides him the opportunity to do just that. Introduced in the fall of 2011, the PRS Collection Series is comprised of a very limited number of instruments each year. These instruments incorporate a balance of PRS traditions and innovations and are made with the most prized components in the company’s possession, using PRS’ most exacting methods.
Paul Reed Smith, along with the Private Stock team, designs and oversees all aspects of production, including the selection of all woods.Collection Series instruments cannot be ordered, but will be available from exclusive Private Stock dealers.
