Experience PRS 2020 Virtual Event Recap!

For much of 2019 and 2020, our team was preparing and planning for our huge factory open house on May 8th and 9th, "Experience PRS 2020." We anticipated that over 3500 of you would join us at our headquarters in Maryland and help us celebrate our 35th Anniversary in person. As we all know, those plans were swiftly halted. So we brainstormed, we rallied, and we turned Experience PRS 2020 into an awesome virtual event. Here's how it went down!

Once we figured out the logistics, we were ready to make the 'virtual event' announcement public. Paul Reed Smith did the honors, watch his video message below:

As Paul mentioned above, a typical Experience PRS event features gear demos, factory tours, new products, interactive areas, and one of our favorites: artist clinics! So we leaned into that idea and with the help of 10 of our artists, assembled virtual clinics! What we found especially exciting was that every artist clinician who would have been at the in person event recorded a virtual clinic!

Experience PRS usually culminates in a star-studded concert finale, we got to work on an alternate plan!

LONG DISTANCE FT. PAUL REED SMITH & FRIENDS

As the closing event for Experience PRS 2020, we premiered "Long Distance," a special, star-studded video featuring Paul Reed Smith and several of our artists and friends. Below is a sneak peek of what will become a whole new YouTube series for us. Stay tuned for the full conversations scheduled for one-by-one release later this year.

Finally, Experience PRS has always been a destination event for players to see, hear, play, and even purchase their next PRS. Recognizing this, we still plan to make the new product announcements we had planned to coincide with this event. These announcements will be made starting later this month and will continue throughout the summer.
