GuitCon 2017 Wrap-Up!

Recently, Jeanne Nooney (PRS Public Relations) and Bryan Ewald (PRS Product Demonstrator) traveled to Markneukirchen, Germany to take part in a new and special guitar event called "GuitCon."

What is GuitCon?

GuitCon 2017 was an event designed to bring together 20 guitar and gear-centric YouTubers for a week long extravaganza of content production, cross promotion, and just plain old hangin' out. The event provided a unique opportunity for these musicians and gear hosts to be in the same place at the same time where they could work together to make interesting guitar-related videos for fans to enjoy.

The event was held at the headquarters of Framus & Warwick in Germany, a great location for the US and other international YouTubers to gather.

During the day, YouTubers would collaborate to create videos ranging from gear comparisons to funny & light-hearted content. In the evenings, everyone would gather in the main music hall for a nightly live stream dedicated to conversation around specific guitar-related topics ranging from guitar design to the history of YouTube. As you can imagine, a great deal of jamming also ensued.
