At PRS we realize not every person using our gear is a rock star with 80,000 Twitter followers, we also care about you: the weekend gig-warrior, the session guy, the late night jam-sesh with friends. Our passion is building guitars and amplifiers that inspire you as much as Carlos Santana, Mark Tremonti, or any other big-name musician. Check out this blog to read a real life story of how a PRS player uses his gear.
When you’re investing in a new amplifier, a few thoughts should be passing through your mind before you drop the cash. Things like: How will this amp perform on stage? How will it track in the studio? Is it versatile or a one-trick pony? Will it handle my different guitars/rigs? All intelligent and important questions. Our engineering team dwelt on these questions during the development of our Archon family of amps and a few noteworthy producers have noticed. Check out this blog to read their thoughts!
Every once in a while on our blog you’ll see a post title labled “missed connections.” It’s our way of making sure you have a chance to see all of the great limited run guitars that we make - often in very small batches! This “missed connection” features the Private Stock Tree of Life Angelus we released a few months ago, take a peek!
Check out this blog to get up close and personal with Alex Lifeson of Rush! Over the past few years we have worked closely with Alex to develop two guitars he can be proud to play on tour and in the studio: the SE Alex Lifeson and the Private Stock Alex Lifeson models. In these exclusive videos, Alex discusses his ongoing R40 tour with Rush, the development behind his new PRS models, and how he uses them on tour.
This year PRS celebrates the third anniversary of the S2 Series! As part of our celebration, we partnered with our friends at Sonicbids to host a competition. The PRS artist relations team searched through hundreds of Sonicbids applicants in search of the top emerging talent nationwide! The bands that entered were given a ranking based on musicality, creativity, and performance. Check out the winning bands in this blog post!
