PRS Guitar Backs - We Love Them Too!

Filed Under Acoustics / Private Stock Acoustics / Electrics / Core Electrics / Private Stock Electrics

You can’t ignore a good top on a guitar, its the first thing people see when you open the case and its always facing the crowd while you’re out gigging.  Everyday we focus on the tops, but not today; today we want to show you some of the best backs in the game. These are just a few of the guitars we are privileged to work on each day here in our Maryland factory - each one crafted with care and attention to detail. Enjoy!

@Lindsay Thomson... I believe it's Burnt Maple Leaf. I have a Custom 24 in that color and it's absolutely beautiful in person.

Right now I'm so broke I can't afford to pay attention....but should I find myself in a position to fetch another guitar,..that multi colored beauty (first with the blue fade to honey) I'd cut a leg off to own!

Wow... Guitar Backs is amazing. The guitar backs could be framed and hung in an Art Gallery. Absolutely gorgeous!!!! Thank you.

When I went to see my first PRS in the flesh it was a PRS SE Santana in yellow I was completely blown over. I said at the time they are more like artwork you could easily imagine it mounted on the wall in pride of place in your home, so beautiful was not only the finish but the whole package. Just holding one in your hands made you feel humbled and weak at the knees, and all this before you have plucked a string! Playing this work of art was the 'cherry on the cake'. The sound is awesome, the sustain never ending and a tone to die for. No wonder then, that within 10 days I was holding my very own PRS SE Santana guitar beautifully resplendent in Santana Orange, and taking centre stage on my wall when not being played, but it's not up there for long as I just can't seem to hang it up!

I love that first one. It reminds me of staring into the deep end of a swimming pool.

Absolutely beautiful, just wish I could afford one, but the family, house and car have to come first. Maybe someday.

That lighter wood grained guitar sitting in the brown case is easily the best looking guitar, front and back, I've seen in years. You rock!

I don't see any basses, does PRS not make them?
