The Dweezilla Music Boot Camp

The second annual Dweezilla Music Boot Camp was just announced for the summer of 2011, and PRS Guitars is happy to partner with Dweezil Zappa for this incredible musical experience. The 5-day musical vacation, July 25-29, 2011, in beautiful upstate New York’s Catskill Forest Preserve, is designed to give all of its students access to the entire Zappa Plays Zappa band and all of their collective musical knowledge.

Deep immersion into the various nuances of poly-rhythms, melodic patterns, improvisation methods for all types of instruments, and exercises to improve instrument understanding and theoretical musical knowledge have all been carefully constructed to help students achieve their goals quickly. Students can also expect to have more confidence and dexterity for improvisation, will learn important tips for more organized and meaningful practice, and will gain insight into creating a personal, unique musical voice. At its core, Dweezilla is designed to help musicians develop personalized musical tools that will shape and contour new musical ideas.

Nightly concert events and jam sessions are planned along with fantastic meals, one-on-one lessons, and informative gear demonstrations...all in the heart of "Forever Wild" Catskill Forest Preserve in Big Indian, New York at Full Moon Resort.
