New 311 Album Out - Summer Tour Rolling!

311's new album "Uplifter" was just released on June 2, 2009 and has debuted #3 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart; the top charting position for the band in its 19 year history. "Uplifter", produced by Bob Rock (Metallica, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, etc) is 311's first album in nearly 4 years, and first with producer Bob Rock. The first radio single "Hey You" has reached #3 on the Alternative Rock chart. The second single "It's Alright" was released to radio on June 15.

Mark Tremonti of Alter Bridge Creed has announced all four of the original band members are back together for a summer tour and new album. Since their formation, Creed has sold close to thirty–five million albums and millions of concert tickets. Legendary Guitarist Carlos Santana Launches First Rock Residency Show In Las Vegas At The Joint At Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Signing on as the first rock and roll resident artist in Las Vegas, Carlos Santana brings his legendary talent to The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino through a multi-year deal with AEG Live. Through 2010, The Joint will be the only place west of the Mississippi where fans can see Santana perform. Titled to pay homage to his most successful body of work to date, Supernatural Santana: A Trip Through the Hits debuted on Wednesday May 27 and features the artist’s signature fusion sound in a show designed exclusively for the new venue.

PRS Guitars Mourns The Loss of Stephen Bruton

PRS Guitars mourns the loss of a dear friend and endorser, STEPHEN BRUTON - a guitarist and songwriter who had played with Kris Kristofferson for nearly 40 years and whose songs had been recorded by Bonnie Raitt, Willie Nelson, Jimmy Buffett and others, died Saturday. He was 60. Bruton died of complications of throat cancer in Los Angeles. Our thoughts and prayers are with Stephen’s family during this difficult time.
